Conference in 2021
This year we are working with the Lifetimes project (Oslo) and Waiting Times (Exeter/Birkbeck) to bring you our second international conference.
Conference in 2018
In 2018, in conjunction with the Waiting Times project, we will be hosting our first international conference.
Workshops in 2014
In 2014 the Temporal Belongings project worked with new partners to run further events. These included the Design Informatics programme at the University of Edinburgh and the KTH Environmental Humanities Laboratory.
Workshops in 2013
We ran three events in 2013. The first event was part of our Connected Communities follow-on project (AH/J006653/1), which continued to highlight cross-cutting themes from the first Temporal Belongings residential workshop and the Temporal Connectivities scoping study. We also be organised a further workshop and a public event, following a successful bid for funding from the AHRC Care for the Future exploratory grants scheme.
Workshops in 2012
After a successful application for follow-on funding to support the Temporal Belongings network (AH/J006653/1), Michelle Bastian and Johan Siebers coordinated a series of workshops based on issues that were highlighted as cross-cutting themes at the first Temporal Belongings residential workshop and through the Temporal Connectivities scoping study. We continued to use our distinctive collaborative approach to support cross-discplinary discussion, using a variety of participatory facilitation methodologies, as well as working with community partners. We were particularly interested in designing events that dealt with issues of significance to local, national and policy communities.
Workshops in 2011
In 2011 we held our inaugural meeting at the University of Manchester organised by Michelle Bastian. This was funded by the AHRC (AH/J501391/1) in connection with a scoping study on time and community.
