Getting here from the airport

Take the Airlink 100 bus from the airport to the city. Tickets are £4.50 for a single, £7.50 for an open return, or £9.00 for a network day ticket which allows you to use all Lothian buses and trams. Change is given on this service. Alight at Waverley Bridge, and walk north up to Princes Street and turn right walking towards Calton Hill. Follow the instructions below.

Getting here from Waverley train station

Exit the station on the north side onto Princes Street. Turn right walking towards Calton Hill. Go past the Balmoral Hotel and cross the road. Immediately turn right up North Bridge and the bus stop (North Bridge NC) is just a short walk away. Single tickets are £1.70, or £4.00 for a day pass. There is no change given.  Catch the 14, 30 or 33 and stay on for 6 stops, getting off at the Royal Commonwealth Pool. Continue walking down the road a short distance until you reach a set of metal gates with a sign for Pollock Halls. Turn left here to enter the conference centre and residential halls complex.
