We will be using QiQo (pronounced key-ko) Chat for the conference, which is described as a 'social wrapper for Zoom meetings'. The platform allows participants to communicate with each other in a range of ways, to move around at will between meetings, and to set up their own meetings both planned and ad hoc. It also features a 'garden' area which is an always on meeting space for informal socialising, catching up or relaxed sessions. The Spatial chat service wil be embedded to allow easy informal interaction outside of the main sessions, including hallway conversations, networking, films/music events and more. We will be offering virtual tours of the platform prior to the conference so that attendees can familiarise themselves with how it works, as well as instruction videos. See below for a virtual tour of the platform. Technical support will be available during the event, and accessibility will be a focus for us, with captioning available during the keynotes.
